Humanities



As one of the very first post-revolutionary graduate schools, the Faculty of Humanities was established in 1982 in compliance with the main objectives of the university, to train highly qualified and committed university academic staff. Since its foundation, this faculty has provided a great number of instructors who are now working as the academic staff of different universities in Iran. The Faculty of Humanities has 23 educational groups and 89 academic members (professors, associate professors, and assistant professors) and 59 administrative staff. At present, 493 M.A. and 345 Ph.D. students are studying in different departments; moreover, 276 students have graduated from this faculty so far. There are two language laboratories, a library with a large number of rare books, a computer center, and laboratories for geography, psychology, physical education in the faculty.
